Call for Volunteers: Join Us in Making a Difference!

Are you passionate about climate justice, human rights, and empowering marginalized communities? Do you want to contribute your time, skills, and energy to projects and initiatives toward creating genuine transformation in Mindanao?

Mindanao Climate Justice Resource Facility, Inc. (MCJ) seeks volunteers who share our vision of a world based in climate justice, environmental protection, equity, and rights for all, particularly indigenous and marginalized peoples. As MCJ volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  1. Make an Impact: Engage in hands-on projects and initiatives led by, and which directly benefit, Lumad and Bangsamoro communities, supporting their efforts to address climate change, promote environmental protection and sustainable livelihood, protect their land rights, and advance social justice.
  2. Contribute Your Skills: Whatever your interests, skills, and talents—e.g., writing, research, photography, graphic design, community outreach, event planning—there’s a place for you at MCJ. Your unique abilities and perspectives can make a real difference in our collective efforts.
  3. Flexible Commitment: Whether you can spare a few hours a week or want to dedicate more time, we welcome volunteers with varying levels of commitment and availability. We’ll work with you to find different opportunities to match your interests, skills, and schedules.
  4. Learn and Grow: Gain valuable insights, experience, and skills in advocacy, community development, project management, communications, and more. We offer training, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
  5. Join a Dynamic Community: Become part of an inclusive community of passionate volunteers, staff, and supporters who are dedicated to making a difference. Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, build meaningful relationships, and collaborate on transformative projects.
