This October, Mindanao Climate Justice (MCJ) recognizes the invaluable contributions of our Indigenous partners in Davao, Maguindanao, Bukidnon, Zamboanga, and Caraga. These communities are integral to our ongoing efforts through the Duyog, Panalipod, and Kinaiyahan Programs, continuously leading the defense of their lands and rights despite challenges like conflict and exploitation.

By supporting Lumad communities across Mindanao, MCJ stands with them on their fight for ancestral lands and self-determination. This Indigenous Peoples’ Month, may we remind ourselves on the importance of solidarity with Lumad people on our continuous fight to climate justice. Their dedication inspires us as we work together for a just, sustainable future.
